Greenwich Leisure Limited Plumstead Centre Winter Holiday Food and Fun

The Plumstead Centre will deliver a fun-packed programme of drama, singing , dance and sports for 8 to 15 year olds.

The programme includes a short sharing performance for family and friends each week.

Acting: young people will have the opportunity to learn small bite size scripts but still gain an understanding of how to take the text on the page to a fully performed group piece, what the words are portraying to gain a more in-depth understanding of the story and character breakdown to give each young person their own individual characteristics to develop.

Singing: an introduction to singing technique, how to physically prepare and breathe for singing, fun songs with some movement including helping create confidence.

Dance: working together in froups gives opportunities and understanding in various dance styles and techniques, helping each other learn together in a fun safe environment.

In addition to the performing arts activities the children will take part in educational nutrition workshops, fun games and multi-sports.
