Anyone can become unwell if they get too cold.

Stay safe and well in hot weather and heatwaves 

While everybody is at risk of dehydration, heat exhaustion and heat stroke, some people are more at risk. 

These groups include: 

  • elderly people
  • infants and young children
  • people with chronic medical conditions, for example, heart problems and respiratory difficulties
  • people with mobility problems
