If someone's life or safety is in danger right now, call 999.
Safehaven Superhubs can help people feel safe and supported in their community. If you need help, there's a safe space to go.
There are currently 5 in our borough:
- Eltham, McDonald's on Eltham High Street
- Greenwich, Cutty Sark McDonald's
- Middlepark, Yorkshire Grey McDonald's
- Thamesmead, McDonald's on Pettman Crescent
- Woolwich, McDonald's on Powis Street
You can visit any of these locations and staff will help you.
They can:
- let you inside and keep out anyone who’s threatening you
- call the police, ambulance, or your family or friends
- give you directions or public transport information
- make sure you feel safe and confident to leave when you want to
- use specialist equipment like defibrillators and bleed kits
Defibrillators are lifesaving devices which help restart someone's heart. For example, if they have a heart attack or go into cardiac arrest.
Bleed kits include tourniquets, bandages and gels. They could stop someone from bleeding to death before paramedics arrive.
