When you need a forecourt trading licence
You need a forecourt trading licence if you're a small trader and want to use the public highway for shopfront:
- trading
- displays
A small trader is an independent retailer operating from a single location that’s owned by an individual, a family or a partnership.
To sell items from a stall or trailer, you'll need a street trading licence.
To place tables, chairs and other street furniture on the public highway, apply for or renew a pavement licence.
Licence fees
Fees are for the weekly charge for the first square metre of trading area.
We’ll charge for any extra square metres at half the quoted price.

| Eltham town centre | £6.37 |
