Overview

You may be able to pay the Council Tax rate of the band below yours if you or someone you live with is disabled. If your property is in band A, the discount is one-sixth of the Band D cost.

If you live alone, you could also apply for a single person discount.  

If you have a carer who lives with you, you could also apply for a carer discount.

You must pay Council Tax while you wait for us to decide if you're eligible for a discount. If you do not pay, we'll start the Council Tax recovery process.
