Understanding Health Improvement training
We run free Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) Level 2 training sessions over one to 2 days to help you build your skills, support health and wellbeing and gain a recognised qualification.
The training is open to anyone who lives, works or volunteers in Royal Greenwich and wants to make a positive difference to their community, friends and family.
It's especially suitable for people in front-line, community-facing or health-related roles, and is a good stepping stone to further health training.
You'll learn about how:
- health inequalities develop and are addressed
- effective communication supports health messages
- to promote health and wellbeing and the impact this has on people and communities
Our Public Health team runs training sessions in community settings throughout the year but places are limited.
