Auction premises licence

Any premises used for public auctions must be licensed by The Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The only exception to this is if the auction is a one-day charity event. In this case, you will need to provide proof of charity status.

Please contact Licensing. We will need to know more details about the premises that will be used for the auction.

Cost

You will need to pay a one-off application fee of £530.

We will process your application and issue your licence. We reserve the right to set out conditions in the licence, relating to matters such as public safety, fire prevention and lighting.
