Royal Greenwich Get Together 2018 logo

Come along and celebrate our community at the Royal Greenwich Get Together on Saturday 30 June 2018, 12pm to 8.30pm.

The Council's free annual event now takes place across two sites in Woolwich:

  • General Gordon Square
  • Number One Street in The Royal Arsenal.

There'll be lots of entertainment, across several themed areas, so bring your family and friends and enjoy a wonderful day out.

What's on

Highlights include:

  • the premiere of an open air spectacular from Greenwich + Docklands International Festival
  • a wonderful carnival style parade (see how to join the parade below)
  • social cycle rides from Eltham and Thamesmead and bike parade
  • interactive children's science and art workshops
  • children's theatre shows and dance performances
  • street entertainment and two live music stages
  • story-telling and smaller children's play activities
  • community information and craft stalls
  • vintage military vehicles and displays
  • have a go sports activities and healthy living zone
  • fantastic food and drink stalls.

Trading and workshop opportunity for artists and makers

We are inviting local arts groups and individual artists to sell, display and demonstrate their work. There is a large under cover space on site which we plan to fill with an exciting range of entertainment, hands on activities, arts workshops and trading stalls.

A table top trading pitch costs £25.

If you can provide a hands on activity, please get in touch so we can look at ways of working with you to make this happen. Space is limited so please let us know as soon as possible if you'd like to be part of the event.
