Works to trees
Permission for works to trees
We want to protect our trees, which are an important part of the natural environment and open space.
There are three situations when work to trees will need special permission:
- if the tree is in a conservation area
- if it had a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) attached to it
- or if the tree is protected by a planning condition.
If you're not sure whether a tree falls into these categories, contact the tree officer.
