Help getting around

Don't miss out on the services that are available to you if you have a mobility problem or are a wheelchair user.

We can organise a mobility assessment or a note from your doctor to support your application. Talk to our Mobility team about your situation on 020 8921 2388.

What help can I get?

You may be eligible for one or more of the following assisted travel schemes available for disabled and elderly people:

There are other travel schemes available for war pensioners, people on jobs-related benefits, people looking for work and disabled people who are in work.

Support on public transport

Transport for London offers a free travel mentoring service, which supports disabled people to travel independently on public transport.

Find out more information about the mentoring service on the TfL website

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) offers a free service to assist people using mobility scooters and wheelchairs to safely access the railway.
