Temporary Highways Licence Application Highways Act 1980 - Builders Skip and Materials
The standard processing time for licence applications is up to 72 hours on a working day. In exceptional cases, for example where a skip needs to go on a metered bay, processing times will be longer.
For licences starting on a weekend, we must receive an application no later than 4pm on the Thursday before.
Skips on private land do not require a licence, examples include:
