Nearly 100% of families in Royal Greenwich have been offered a place at one of their preferred primary schools after letters went out across the borough for National Offer Day.

For children starting primary school in September 2022, April 19 was a big day as they found out which school they would be attending.

In Royal Greenwich, 99% of families were given a preferred school, with 91% in total being placed at their first preference - a 1.65% increase on last year.

A spokesperson for the Royal Borough of Greenwich said: “If your child has been allocated a school not on your preference list, you need to let us know by May 4 if you wish to accept the offer.

“If you haven’t already applied and your child is due to start primary school in September, please get in touch with us, there is still time for late applicants.”
