Free holiday meals will be available to any child that needs one during the February half-term.

We‘re committed to playing our part to end child food insecurity, as we believe that no child should go hungry just because they’re not at school.

That’s why the Royal Borough of Greenwich will be providing delicious, healthy meals at libraries and adventure playgrounds during school holidays.

Councillor Matt Morrow, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: “With the cost of living so high, I know many families are worried about juggling childcare and finding the money to pay for extra meals during half-term.

“Our holiday meal scheme means parents and carers have the reassurance that a healthy, nutritious meal is available, at no cost.

“The Council is committed to supporting families and children all year round, and schemes like this form part of our effort to tackle child food poverty.”

Meals are available Monday to Friday throughout February half-term. For full serving times and locations visit royalgreenwich.gov.uk/holidaymeals.

Serving times and locations vary by day, so it’s best to check our website and find your closest location.
