We want to support our residents into a rewarding and fulfilling career. Our fixed-term GDA roles are full-time and provide a nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification upon completion.

Eligibility

You don’t need to have work experience to register with this scheme and there is no age limit – we welcome residents who have just left school as well as more experienced people looking to retrain.

Applicants must live in the borough and have the right to work in the UK and leave to remain for the duration of the placement. Young people in care and care leavers living outside of Royal Greenwich are also warmly invited to register to do an apprenticeship with us.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be invited to join our talent pool. This will offer exclusive access to apprenticeship roles as they arise, which you can then apply to.
