The community litter-picking event has returned, so why not get involved and show your area some love?

From Friday 28 May people up and down the country will be heading out into their local area to join the fight against litter!

So many residents across our brilliant borough really care about their neighbourhoods and green spaces. If you're one of them you then this is your perfect opportunity to get out there and help spruce up the local areas that matter to you most!

This two-week event - finishing on 13 June - brings together individuals, community organisations and businesses to make a difference and help protect the environment.

Want to get involved? All you need to do to is sign up on at keepbritaintidy.org and then email our waste team at waste.advisors@royalgreenwich.gov.uk so they can help you get set up. Or, if you'd like to do your litter pick in your local park or green space, our parks team will be on hand to help, just email them at parks@royalgreenwich.gov.uk

It couldn't be simpler!
