As life returns to its new normal, Cllr Linda Bird, the Mayor of Royal Greenwich, wants to know how lockdown life affected you.

Maybe you learned a new skill or had to spend time away from the ones you loved most. A book compiling all your stories is going to be launched in the early summer of 2021. To take part send in your examples – they could even be poems or drawings to mayor@royalgreenwich.gov.uk before Thursday 31 December.

Cllr Linda Bird, the Mayor of Royal Greenwich, said: “My vision for the book is that this will mark a place in history and be there for future generations to discover. They will read all about how the people of Royal Greenwich came together, worked, supported each other and adapted their lives.”

You can be anyone of any age, background or gender, as long as you have a story to tell about life in lockdown. So, be part of local history and help us remember how we felt, behaved and survived during one of the toughest years of our lifetime.
