The government has written to all construction companies confirming that, where it is safe to do so, construction activities should continue during the coronavirus outbreak.

The council and the construction company, Mace have reviewed construction operations at the Woolwich Works site and have put in place a number of changes and revised procedures to ensure that the works can continue, whilst complying with social distancing guidelines. This will be continually reviewed as the outbreak progresses and any government advice evolves.

We would like to reassure interested parties that delivering the project safely whilst continuing to support the businesses building this high profile project remains a priority for the council.
