Health and Wellbeing Fair on Tuesday 22 October at Glyndon Community Centre.

Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB), the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s skills and employment service, in partnership with Public Health colleagues, is holding a Health and Wellbeing Fair on Tuesday 22 October at Glyndon Community Centre.

At the information drop-in event between 10am and 2pm several organisations will be on hand such as Oxleas NHS, Diabetes UK, Charlton Athletic Community Trust, the Samaritans, Public Health services and specialist employment advisors. The event is free to attend for all residents.

Cllr Denise Hyland, Cabinet Member for Economy, Skills and Apprenticeships, said:

"Sometimes our health, whether it is body, mind or both, can stop us from finding a job but help is available. The Council’s advisers in tandem with local services are experienced at working with residents to help them overcome health issues and match them with training or employment opportunities. The free Health and Wellbeing Fair is the perfect place to find out about all the support that is on offer in a family friendly environment. There will also be activities, presentations and more."

GLLaB is exclusively for the benefit of residents of the Royal Borough of Greenwich

This is the second time that the Health and Wellbeing Fair has taken place and is just one of the many specialist employment support events that Greenwich Local Labour and Business (GLLaB), the Council’s skills and employment service, holds throughout the year. GLLaB is exclusively for the benefit of residents of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, and those under the care of the Council living outside of the borough, and has supported more than 21,588 local job seekers into work since it was established in 1996.
