Free meals for kids Easter 2019

Published: Friday, 5th April 2019

Kids in Greenwich don't have to worry where their next meal is coming from this Easter holidays as the Council's mobile kitchen, Holiday Meals, returns to serve up another round of healthy FREE grub.

This is the fourth time the kitchen will be touring the borough serving up delicious meals to school-aged children after making its debut last summer.

'Food poverty is a real issue'

Cllr Danny Thorpe, Leader of the Council, said: "Food poverty is a real issue for many families but the delicious and nutritious freshly made meals funded by the Council will help make sure that no child goes hungry this Easter."

Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the youth clubs and children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the adventure playgrounds.
