Everything you need to know about using your local services during the festive season.

Many services operate over the Christmas period, but some will have reduced hours or closures on certain days. Here’s everything you need to know about using your local services during the festive season.

Adventure play centres

All adventure play centres are closed until 2 January.

Cemeteries

All our cemeteries are open 9am – 4pm daily including during Christmas and the New Year.

Eltham crematorium

Open 9am-1.45pm 25-26 December and 1 January.

Open 9am-3.45pm all other days.

Council service centres

The Woolwich Centre and Eltham Centre are closed 25-28 December, 1 January and 4 January.

24 December and 31 December
Eltham Centre open 9am-1pm
Woolwich Centre open 9am-5pm

Council homes

There will be no caretaking service on 25 December and only a basic service on 26 December and 1 January. Residents of council homes can call the usual emergency out-of-hours number for repairs or to report urgent caretaking issues throughout the Christmas period call 020 8854 8888.

Leisure

All centres will have changed opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period. Check the websites for each leisure centre for specific opening times.

Libraries

All libraries will have changed opening hours over the Christmas and New Year period. Check the websites for library for specific opening times.
