Residents can have their say at the next meetings about local issues and feeling safe.

Over 300 people attended the last Better Together events that give participants an opportunity to get involved in influencing decisions about their local area.

The meetings also give people the chance to meet key people from the Council including cabinet members and ward councillors.

Feeling safe in your local community

Residents are invited to discuss the topic 'Feeling safe in their local community' and will be able to tell the Council what their suggestions and priorities are as well as speaking to council officers about specific parks, streets, planning and housing issues.

Local councillors and cabinet members will attend each session along with council staff.

Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Councillor Danny Thorpe said: "The Royal Borough wants to better understand the priorities and issues affecting residents, in different areas, so we can work together to deliver the changes that they want to see.

"I encourage anyone who would like to make a difference in their neighbourhood to come along to a Better Together community meeting."
