'Investment in top schools'

Florence Kroll, Director of Children's Services, said: "Our admissions team have worked really hard to ensure that even more children will start at their preferred school in September. We've invested in our schools to increase the number of places at our highest achieving schools to meet demand.

"With 97 per cent of primary schools in Royal Greenwich judged 'good' or 'outstanding' by Ofsted, parents can rest assured that their children will be getting their education off to the best possible start."
