Funding for local projects
Would you like to secure funds for projects to help reduce the impact of COVID-19 and improve the health and wellbeing of communities where you live?
If you live in the following areas, you can apply to secure funding grants from £500 to £2,000 as part of the Community Champions initiative: Woolwich Riverside ward; Caletock Estate and Flamsteed Estate in East Greenwich and the Page Estate in Eltham.
Applications for funding has been extended and will now close at 9am Monday 5 July followed by a virtual Community Voting Day on 17 July where your project could be selected!

To give you an idea of the reach and impact of community projects, watch this video when more than 250 community-minded people joined the Community Champions Zoom Voting Day on 27 March to vote for the local projects they felt passionate about. 38 local projects in Charlton, Plumstead/Glyndon, Thamesmead Moorings and Woolwich will now be delivered over the next six months:
