Non-essential events have been postponed or cancelled to help safeguard against the spread of COVID-19.
The Council is doing whatever it can to make sure events can take place at a later date or make alternative arrangements. Please note changes to the following events and check the Council website for further announcements:
Comittees and meetings
As of 17 March 2020, all scrutiny meetings, housing panels and member level meetings are postponed until further notice.
As Cabinet meetings involve a small number of attendees, these meetings will proceed, but with social distancing measures put in place. The Planning Board meeting on 17 March is due to go ahead and social distancing measures will be in place to help keep people safe. The Council is awaiting legal advice on regulatory meetings such as planning and licensing. Please check the individual calendar entry for updates on future meetings.

Royal Greenwich Civic Awards
Our Civic Awards were due to be held in March at Woolwich Town Hall. We have been overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of nominations this year and will look forward to announcing the winners at a later date.
Ceremonies are postponed until further notice. We want to welcome you as a citizen as soon as we can and we’ll be in touch when we have a rearranged date. In the meantime, if you have any questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Royal Greenwich Music Hub's Singing Spectacular

For residents living Charlton, Kidbrooke, Woolwich, Blackheath or Greenwich your online Better Together Meeting will take place online 7pm - 8pm on Tuesday 31 March. All you need to do is pose your questions on social media (in a Tweet or a Facebook direct message) using #AskGreenwich and your Councillors will be online and ready to answer them.
