Volunteering in Thamesmead makes up an important part of the support that is offered to the local community through local groups and organisations. In order to celebrate this and to give some of these organisations a chance to recruit new volunteers and promote their work, we're hosting a volunteer fair at The Moorings Sociable Club. Those who come along will get to: Find out about volunteering opportunities in Thamesmead Meet local organisations and learn how you can get involved Get advice on the pathway from volunteering to employment Speak to other volunteers about their experience There will also be free food and face painting available on the day!
