Come to Woodlands Farm for an afternoon of foraging for sloes.

Sloes appear to be in short supply this year, but there are still plenty in the hedgerows at Woodlands Farm! Come and spend a lovely autumn afternoon foraging for sloes on Sunday 9 October. This experience includes a short tour of the farm, travelling to the hedges in a tractor-pulled trailer. This event will begin at 1pm and end at 4pm. Gather as many sloes as you can pick to take home with you, together with instructions on how to make your own sloe gin for this festive season. A great afternoon out for anyone wanting to learn sloe recipes, gather their own sloes or simply spend an afternoon foraging with new people.

Tickets are £15 per person and need to be booked in advance. There is a discounted rate of £10 per person for farm members.

Please directly call or email the farm to book at this rate. Book tickets.

Please note that the tractor ride is dependent on weather and ground conditions on the day and please ensure outdoor clothing is worn for this experience. We are unable to offer refunds for cancellations within 2 days of the event, cancellations before then are subject to a cancellation administration charge.
