Hope started out in the late 80's as a jazz /blues singer. Because of the comedic quality of her music she soon caught the attention of some of the country's most notable comedians of that time and worked as a supporting act with Lenny Henry, Jack Dee and Jo Brand. Hope soon ventured into musical Theatre, playing lead roles In the Cameron Macintosh productions "Whale of a Tale", "The Goodbye Girl", "Rag Time, Daddy Cool", " The Lion King" and " When Marylin Met Ella" as well as numerous number one theatre tours and rep productions. Hope is now a serious jazz singer, the comedy has been replaced with a real appreciation for the Great American Song Book classic melodies and haunting lyrics.
