We will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in style along with the rest of the nation. The event will have areas for families to enjoy food and drinks, while they watch performances.

The African Palace by Black Female Entrepreneur Greenwich
A fashion show will celebrate outfits fit for African kings and queens created by local and traditional fashion designers, accompanied by dance and live music. Alongside the performances, there will also be arts and crafts workshops.
Fresh Chances Commonwealth Tea Party
A family themed programme of events will include regular performances of the national anthem in various Commonwealth languages, as well as acrobatics and etiquette lessons.
Home Start Greenwich - Plumstead Palace
Family activities including singing sessions, steel pans, street dance, crafts and games.
Court of the Jade Emperor by Global Fusion Music and Arts
A theatrical performance of Chinese myth, the Story of the Jade Emperor plus children’s crafts.
A Royal Ceilidh by Greenwich Dance
In recognition of the Queens love of Balmoral, Greenwich Dance will bring a traditional Scottish ceilidh to the picnic, complete with dance and a live band.
The Princess and the Pea by Lets All Dance
A professional ballet performance.
UK Latin Community Fiesta
UK Latin Community CIC will present a fiesta featuring live music, dance performances, craft workshops, drumming and body percussion workshops, Spanish baby rhyme time, and a kids disco.
Macatu and Ciranda with TARU
TARU will be running crown making workshops, as well as Ciranda dance displays and a finale parade complete with Maracatu band.
