A night out to celebrate the Thamesmead Codex exhibition before it travels to the Tate Modern

Join the legendary Apathy Band and artist Bob and Roberta Smith for a special evening of live performance and DJ's to celebrate the voices of Thamesmead. Bob and Roberta Smith's improvisational music collaborators The Apathy Band will include; Founder members Leonardo Ulian on Electronics and Theremin, George Cleghorn on Sax, George Lionel Barker on Bass, Jessica Voorsanger on Vocals, Bob and Roberta Smith on Drums, Owen Thomas on Guitar, Janette Parris on Clarinet, Rich Little on objects on table and Decks and Victor Mount on Electric Violin, will perform the Thamesmead Codex.

The performance will involve a live mix join in a reading of the whole Codex lead by Jessica Voorsanger. The band will encourage the audience to be participants, specially tuned Spanish guitars and detuned violins will be available. We hope you can make it!
