British textile and fashion designer Kitty Joseph is curating an inclusive fashion event which responds to the colour, optimism and scale of Liz West’s new installation on The Tide.

Adorned in the signature bright colours of Kitty Joseph’s collections, the socially distanced performers will populate the riverside section of the Tide in a joyful and prismatic display, echoing the unique sequences of colour in Liz West’s installation. The result will be a visual celebration of infinite harmonic possibility, both in colour and community. Reflecting West’s installation and its swiftly changing projections of filtered colour throughout the day, the performance will take place over two time periods.

To celebrate the imminent 10 year anniversary of her brand, Joseph will draw from her archive and combine these pieces with a new collection to be previewed at the event. This range will harness Tencel fabric which is derived from renewable wood sources in a sustainable closed loop process. It will feature a new print that reflects the spirit of the event. It has been created in collaboration with, and is dedicated to the community which has supported the Kitty Joseph brand in growing and evolving over the past decade. The visual and sonic glue of the whole event will be created by legendary London DJ and music curator Marsha Smith (aka Marshmello) and choreographer and dancer Gareth Mole. Together they will provide a response to the colours of West’s installation at the Tide and its beautiful and blustery surroundings.
