One of the choirs at Blackheath Centre for Singing, our Chamber Choir is ideal for those who are more experienced singers who are confident at reading music notation.
This course is being temporarily run online via the Zoom video app. Links to access rehearsals and sheet music will be sent once you have signed up to the course. Our ‘Chamber Choir’ explores a wide of repertoire from early music to contemporary masterpieces. This term we’ll work with a number of experienced guest conductors to develop our range of vocal skills and take our music-making to the next level. Our repertoire this term ranges from madrigals and folk songs to contemporary works and features choral music by Monteverdi, Peteris Vasks, Eric Whitacre and Brahms. Our autumn term will conclude with an entertaining virtual social evening along with our other choirs at Blackheath Centre for Singing.
