This course is being temporarily run online via the Zoom video app. Links to access rehearsals and sheet music will be sent once you have signed up to the course. Our ‘Singing for Pleasure’ Choir suits singers with some choral experience. The ability to sight read is not necessary in this group, although a basic understanding of musical notation is helpful. This term we’ll work on our vocal technique and learn some beautiful contemporary choral works including ‘O Radiant Dawn’ by James MacMillan and ‘Pater Noster’ by Peteris Vasks amongst others. Our autumn term will conclude with an entertaining virtual social evening along with our other choirs at Blackheath Centre for Singing.
