Trinity Laban are offering singing leaders the opportunity to find out more about leading singing for people living with Parkinson’s disease. The day will offer an introduction in how to adapt community singing specifically for people with Parkinson's. As the condition progresses, the larynx becomes weaker which impacts the volume and strength of the voice. Singing has been found to alleviate some of these symptoms and improve the voice. You will be an experienced singing leader, with a core repertoire which can be taught by ear, simple breathing and vocal warm up exercises and a basic knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the voice.
