Mycenae House Reach Out Projects presents a free Dementia Choir with Kate Howden and Sachika Taniyama.

Mycenae House Reach Out Projects presents a free Dementia Choir with Kate Howden and Sachika Taniyama on 10 October 2-3pm. We invite people living with dementia and their family / carers to join a singing event designed especially for them. In this group we will warm up our bodies and voices, sing well-known and some new songs and mostly have fun and enjoy meeting new people and making music together. Music can stimulate memories, be a means of communication with friends and family and encourage social interaction. These (and many other reasons) are why singing (something we can all do, even if you think you can’t!) is great for people living with dementia.
