A collection of oils, watercolours and prints by artist Terry Scales

Being ‘on the doorstep’ this small stretch of river has provided a constant source of inspiration over 65 years. During this time is has changed dramatically; most of the working wharves and boatyards have disappeared and a dynamic new skyline has emerged. This exhibition draws back this recent veil and looks once again at lightermen mooring craft at Pope and Bond, Pipers Wharf at low tide and ‘The Lizzie’ at Lovell’s Wharf. Then the veil is let go and we step forward to more recent, ever changing Thames Vistas.
