Free seminar during National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2019, that will provide attendees with the tools to challenge bias and help prevent hate crime.

This week of action takes place between the second to third Saturday in October each year. It aims to bring people together to stand in solidarity with those affected by hate crime, to remember those we have lost, and help those that need ongoing support. It also provides an opportunity to raise awareness of hate crime and to prevent it occurring .

The seminar will share ideas and the stories of local people that have caused change. The seminar is open to anyone with an interest in hate crime, critical thinking, media literacy and using their voice.
