Join Cllr Denise Hyland, the Mayor of Royal Greenwich and wear a festive outfit on Wednesday 15 December, whether you are at school, work or at home.

Wear anything from a red top to an elf costume and raise money for the Mayor’s charity appeal, which is supporting the Tramshed.

Tramshed is a theatre company and community arts hub based in the heart of Woolwich. They offer performing arts programmes for young people and for adults with learning disabilities.

Cllr Denise Hyland, The Mayor of Royal Greenwich has said: “I saw the standard of effort made last year, so my expectations are high. Tramshed is a charity very close to my heart, having seen how it benefited my pupils during my time as a teacher. Let’s end this year on a high, get our Christmas slacks out, and raise money for a very well-deserving charity.”

You can show your support by taking on this initiative personally or within your organisation, and wear a Christmas outfit on 15 December. To aid even further, you can donate a minimum of £2 to the Mayor’s charity fund via our Just Giving page.

Jeremy James, CEO of Tramshed said: “Tramshed are hugely delighted and honoured to be the Mayors Charity in 2021 and would like to throw down a challenge to the wider borough! Can anyone provide a more ‘out there’ collection of Christmas dressing up outfits than the team at Tramshed?”

The Tramshed have offered the best dressed people, team or family a free night at a Tramshed Comedy event in 2022.

We would love to see the Christmas outfits you pull together, so send them to us via email at: mayor@royalgreenwich.gov.uk tag us in pictures on social media @Royal_Greenwich.
