About Better Together meetings

Royal Greenwich's regular Better Together sessions give participants an opportunity to get involved in making decisions about their local area plus meet key people from the Council including Cabinet members and Council staff.

Meetings will begin with a surgery giving residents the chance to talk about a specific issue affecting them and will be followed by an overview of regeneration projects and a discussion of projects which could benefit from investment.

Residents will be able to hear about local regeneration projects, have their say on how regeneration money could be spent on local improvements and make suggestions about the things that make a positive difference where they live.

'Vital that we listen and respond to residents' views'

Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Councillor Denise Hyland, said: "There are so many exciting regeneration projects under way right across the Royal Borough so it is vital that we listen and respond to residents' views on how this regeneration can work for everyone and benefit the whole community. I would like to thank residents who have participated in our previous Better Together meetings and I look forward to welcoming them back to our next event in Eltham."
