Two more events kick off this weekend as part of Royal Greenwich Festivals.

The two-day Greenwich Music Festival in Cutty Sark Gardens will offer music, food and entertainment from around the world on 3 and 4 June from 12pm to 3pm.

A family fun day in Well Hall Pleasaunce on 4 June will mark the start of PARKSfest with live music and plenty of entertainment for visitors no matter what their age or interests. Birds of prey, arts and crafts, street food stalls and an outdoor bar tent will be among the attractions at the event which runs from 10am to 4pm.Other activities include a Punch and Judy show, face painting and a variety of stalls selling everything from games to clothes.

A wide variety of events

The Greenwich Music Festival and PARKSfest programmes continue into July and are all completely free to attend. The events include:

  • three weekends of diverse music in Eltham High Street's new public square (1, 8 and 15 July, 12 to 5pm)
  • Greenwich Pleasaunce Summer Festival - live music, an art exhibition, children's entertainment, dance and sports activities (11 June, 12 to 5pm)
  • Greenwich Youth Band concert in Eltham Park South (11 June, 3 to 4.30pm)
  • World Music Experience - a celebration of refugee day with performances from musicians from around the world in General Gordon Square (17 June, 12 to 3pm
  • Summerfest - music and entertainment for all the family with a focus on mental health awareness in Rockliffe Gardens (8 July, 2 to 5pm)
  • Plumstead Live! music festival in Plumstead Common (16 July, 3 to 8pm)
