Residents can learn about plans for parking and traffic management during the Games.
Officers will be on hand to answer questions about the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games transport plans around The Royal Artillery Barracks venue this weekend. Representatives from the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG), Transport for London and Greenwich Council will be in General Gordon Square, Woolwich to meet residents and business owners.
The Royal Artillery Barracks will host the shooting competition from 28 July to 6 August and the Paralympic archery competition from 30 August to 6 September. The venue will attract large numbers of spectators and LOCOG is planning to introduce a number of temporary parking and traffic management measures. Certain roads will be closed and vehicle access will be restricted.
Details of these proposals will be available at informal public drop-in sessions at the library in The Woolwich Centre from noon till 6.30pm on Friday 20 January and from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 21 January, and also at Ravensbourne on 27 and 28 January (see below for details).
Residents and businesses are encouraged to attend and find out how they may be affected and to comment on the plans.
