The Mutual Exchange scheme helps council tenants find a home to better suit their needs.

Need more space or to want to move to another area? The Mutual Exchange scheme allows council tenants to swap their home for a smaller or bigger property.

Register to improve your chances

To improve your chances of finding an exchange, register on the House Exchange website.

This allows you to advertise your property and look at properties available in Royal Greenwich, South East England and other areas of the country.

You can also apply for Mutual Exchange by completing the Royal Borough's Mutual Exchange registration form. Email housing-allocations@royalgreenwich.gov.uk to ask for a form.

The Mutual Exchange scheme is only open to Council and housing association tenants.
