Register now to attend Leader and Deputy Leader Question Time

Published Friday, 03 November 2017

Residents can put their questions about the borough directly to the Leader and Deputy Leader.

As part of the Better Together initiative, the Leader of Royal Greenwich Councillor Denise Hyland and Deputy Leader Councillor Danny Thorpe will be answering your questions about the borough and how it's run.

Give your views and ask your questions

Changes to local government funding represent big challenges for many people and we want to hear your views and provide an opportunity to ask questions about the issues which concern you.

Residents are welcome to both table and ask on-the-spot questions about any topic about the borough at the event which will be held at Woolwich Town Hall on Wednesday 8 November. There will be a reception from 6pm, with the session starting at 6.30pm.

Working together to improve our borough

Leader of the Royal Borough of Greenwich Councillor Denise Hyland said: "Listening and responding to the needs of our residents is at the forefront of the Council's work so I would encourage people to come along to our Question Time event to help ensure that we are taking action on the issues that matter most to you.

"By working together we can help further improve Royal Greenwich and make it an even better place to live, work and visit."

The event will be chaired by Rasheeda Page-Muir who created RevolYOUtion London, a debate platform for young people, when she was just 17 years old. She has lived in the borough all her life and, now 20, is committed to promoting the talent of young people in the community and creating opportunities for them to express their skills.
