Domestic violence
What is domestic violence?
Domestic violence currently claims the lives of around two women a week and affects millions more.
Violence in the home, or from an ex-partner, can happen to anyone regardless of class, sex, age, race, sexuality, religion, disability or ethnic group.
Domestic violence can include mental, emotional, sexual and physical violence. Just because it doesn't show, doesn't mean it doesn't matter.
You must never ignore it, as domestic violence usually gets worse over time.
