Request an anti-social behaviour review

The community trigger gives you the right to ask for a review of the response to an anti-social behaviour problem that you have reported at least three times before.

At least one of the reports must have been made within the last six months. Each report must have been about something that had happened within the month before you reported it.

The three reports can be to the same service (such as the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the police or a housing association) or to two or more different services.

Use the anti-social behaviour community trigger

Please note: You cannot use the community trigger to report a new case of anti-social behaviour.

What happens after you request the community trigger

The Royal Borough of Greenwich, police and NHS Clinic Commissioning Group share a duty under the act to carry out a review of the work done on an anti-social behaviour problem.

  1. When you submit your form you'll receive an automated response with a reference number and details of what happens next
  2. Within two working days, you'll receive a formal acknowledgment by letter
  3. Within four days of your application, we'll let you know whether your case qualifies for a review, and if not, why
  4. If your case meets the trigger criteria, a trigger panel will meet within 15 days of your application to review the anti-social behaviour and any actions taken. The review will consider the role of every service that has contributed to resolving the matter, or that could do so
  5. There'll be representatives from at least three services. The chair of the panel will be a manager from a service that hasn't been involved with the case
  6. The chair will write to you within two days after the panel meeting to let you know of the decision, and what you can do if you're unhappy with the outcome.
