Help make local health services better for young people

The You're Welcome programme aims to make health services more friendly to young people. You can contribute to this by becoming an assessor.

Young assessors give awards to health centres, pharmacies, GPs and other health 'settings'. These awards show that the settings are 'young people friendly' and cater to the needs of young people.

You need to be:

  • over 15 years old
  • able to meet every other Monday from 5pm to 7pm in Woolwich.
  • able to carry out the mystery shopping visits with another young assessor in between these fortnightly meetings.

You'll receive full accredited training (AQA Award), social events and a reference from Royal Greenwich.

Your participation will look great on a CV and you can use it to show volunteering experience in college and university applications. If you’re applying for a Duke of Edinburgh award, this can also contribute to the 'volunteering skills' section.
