Youth centres
Clubs for young people
There are lots of youth centres in Greenwich, plus four main hubs that run activities and award schemes for young people.
Many of the hubs have been refurbished and have excellent facilities, including information and support services. Each centre is different but they all have a mixture of:
- dance studios
- music production suites
- IT and computer rooms
- games rooms with games consoles
- comfy seating areas
- kitchens and tuck shops
- arts and crafts rooms
- sports areas.
Activities
These run throughout the year and can include:
- film-making
- music and DJing
- computer courses
- fashion and jewellery making
- Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme
- arts awards
- football and lots of other sports.
Age group
Youth centres are for those aged 11 to 19 years (or up to age 25 for those with special needs). Please call the individual centre for more information.
Exclusive sessions
Some youth clubs also operate exclusive sessions for young women and parents. Please call the relevant centre to find out more.
Cost
Admission is 50p per night.
