Greenwich

Parking permits

Who needs a parking permit?

Parking permits normally entitle the holder to one year's parking.

Download application forms using the link on the right.

The price of permits has not increased in 2012-13. You can pay for your parking permits:

  • by post
  • in person at The Woolwich Centre or The Eltham Centre.

Residents

If you're a Greenwich resident, you may live in a controlled parking zone and need to find out how to get a permit to let you, or a visitor, park near your home. Follow the 'Resident permits' link below for more information.

Businesses

Greenwich businesses which are located in controlled parking zones are also entitled to permits, but only for vehicles used in running the business. Follow the 'Business permits' link below for more information.

Council estate parking

If you are making enquiries regarding a permit for parking on a Council housing estate please see the 'Council estate parking permits' link below.

Cost of permit

The cost depends on which zone you wish to have a permit for and when you need one. You may not need a permit to park on public holidays.

Permit renewal

Don’t forget to renew your permit at least three weeks before it runs out. We will send you a reminder but ultimately it is your responsibility. If you fail to renew your permit and park in controlled parking zones, you may receive a parking ticket.
