The easiest way to register to vote is by going to the Gov.UK site and filling in the online form.

You'll need your National Insurance number. If you don't have a National Insurance number, you'll be asked to explain why and to send a copy of your passport or other identity documentation to the Royal Borough of Greenwich electoral registration office.

When you apply to register to vote you will be registered to vote in person at a local polling station. You can apply to vote by post instead either at the same time as you apply to register to vote or at any time afterwards. Elections have deadlines for applications so apply now if you are interested. Proxy voting is also available in some circumstances.
