Purpose of the pension fund investment and administration panel

The pension fund investment and administration panel is responsible for overseeing and scrutinising all matters associated with the management of the Council's pensions fund.

Panel responsibilities

This panel is responsible for producing a quarterly fund investment performance report. This includes the views of the fund managers.

The panel also takes receipt of the triennial valuation prepared by the Council's actuaries, and assesses monitoring reports from the Chief Finance Officer on all matters relevant to the pension fund and the Council's statutory requirements.

Meetings

Meetings are usually held at Woolwich Town Hall at 9.30am every two months.

Attending meetings

You have a right to attend council meetings.
