Experienced, qualified gardeners needed on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford.

  • Four posts for Level 3 qualified candidates with at least five years' experience in full time horticultural work.

Lunchtime supervisor

  • Location: Charlton
  • Salary: £7.48 per hour, including holiday pay
  • Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Term-time only.

This is a temporary position for one year covering maternity leave. It would suit someone who is looking for a second job to top up their salary or someone who is not claiming Jobseeker's Allowance.

Applicants do not need to have any qualifications in childcare, but you must have experience of working in a childcare setting or working in a school kitchen.

Applicants must show a commitment and a desire to work within this industry and be able to demonstrate a good work ethic, have good communication skills, speak good English and be willing to learn and undertake any training that will be provided.

General manager

A traditional pub that is to open soon in General Gordon Square, Woolwich, is looking for a general manager.

Successful applicants will need to demonstrate that they are creative in their approach to managing a business, with a strong sense of leadership and the ability to deliver a high-quality product in a community-led environment.

Previous experience working for independent pubs or groups is an advantage.

The role will require you to:

  • Recruit and train a team, delivering a high standard of service
  • Recruit individuals to reflect the ethos of the pub
  • Have a passion for delivering fresh, seasonal food
  • Have the business and financial acumen to deliver both growth and profit
  • Deliver events and entertainment that promote the community ethos of the pub

Personal assistant (PA) to headteacher

You will maintain high professional standards and oversee a communications team managing press releases, publications, fundraising and corporate branding.

Ramp service assistants at London City Airport

  • Hours: Part time, 20 to 21 hours per week

  • Contract: Permanent after a six-month probation period 

The shift pattern is set by the employer. Patterns are set on a 13-week rolling roster, covering weekends and bank holidays. They will consist of a mixture of the two shifts below:

  • Early: Monday to Saturday, 5.30am to 11.30am
  • Late: Sunday to Friday, 3pm to 8pm

Part-time assistant martial arts instructor

A part-time assistant martial arts instructor is needed to join a team of instructors at Pyramid Martial Arts. 

  • Martial arts experience is essential.
  • You will preferably be a black belt in either freestyle kickboxing, sports karate or taekwondo. Applicants who are on a lower grading will be considered if they have the right mentality.
  • You must enjoy working with children and have a fun and outgoing personality, but be stern when required.
  • The successful applicant will also need to be patient and understanding of children's individual needs.
  • A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service, formerly CRB) check will be required.

The successful candidate will be provided with full training and a uniform.
